RUNA is a teaching and learning community dedicated to skill-building at the intersection of visionary games, ritual arts, and collective care

Current Projects

  • Ritual Containers

Ritual containers are dedicated, multi-month journeys designed to support personal growth in playful, creative, and devotional ways. They are rituals because they have a ceremonial arc and repeated practices, and containers because they offer a clear structure and continuity to support a nonlinear process of transformation.

Containers span at least 6 weeks and are designed for 1 or 2 participants.

  • Ritual Games (Pilot)

Ritual games invite us into lives filled with imagination, play, and stronger connections with ourselves and others. They are games because there are rules, choices, characters, and goals, and rituals because the game is held in a longer-term story arc and includes practices that bridge imagination and everyday life.

Ritual games span at least 30 days and currently support groups of 2 to 6 participants.

Hi, I’m Zoë!

I am a ritual artist, care network facilitator, and founder of RUNA. I have guided the art and design of ritual and care networks since 2020, and now build ceremonial containers, ritual games, and an emerging care/health network between the U.S. and Brazil. I hold deep commitments to collective health, well-being, and liberation. I live in Curitiba, Brazil, on the original land of the Guarani, Kaingang, and Xetá people.

“Ritual grew up in sacred play; poetry was born in play and nourished on play; music and dancing were pure play. We have to conclude, therefore, that civilization in its earliest phases, played.”
